Lettuce Wraps
Iceberg Lettuce
Romaine Lettuce
Cucumber
Carrot
Sprouts
Cilantro
Green onion
Lemon Juice
Pepper
Oh how I have missed raw veggies .. hence this .
Wash all your veggies, slice the carrot and cucumber into thin strips. You can add tomato chunks if you like, but I personally do not like raw tomato. You can use both the Iceberg or Romaine lettuce for the wrap, it doesn't matter. I chose to chop up the iceberg lettuce.
Basically, take a big piece of lettuce, put your sprouts, carrot, cucumber, a few twigs of cilantro or green onion, the chopped up lettuce and tomatoes on it, take another piece of lettuce and wrap it up. Don't forget to sprinkle black pepper and lemon juice before doing so. Hold it together with toothpicks if needed.
Serve with Kraft's Asian Sesame or hoisin sauce. Crushed peanuts make a good topping too. Go easy on the sauce because it's high in calories. If this is too bland for you, add chicken or turkey breast.
